Okay drawing babies has got to be one of my favorite things. Not only that, but getting to be there at this moment, for this picture....there are no words.
I will try to search for some words to describe the happiness surrounding this little guy. He's my nephew, and I was there the day he was born. It's amazing how much you can love a little person so immediately and so completely. Not only that, but it's amazing to watch your sister become a mother--and not just any mother--but an incredible joy-filled mom. I remember the day after he was born, she said she just stayed awake all night holding him and watching him as he slept, in disbelief that something so perfect was given to her. Sweet little guy. Sweet mother. Sweet daddy...
