TYPOGRAPHY, CURSIVE, AND CURLICUES

Hey Friends, today I want to share with you some of the typography work I've been doing.  These little projects were so much fun.

I've always loved cursive.  As a little girl I remember pulling up "Edwardian Script" on my computer and systematically copying down each and every elegant letter with a pencil.  I was determined to acquire the delicate art of cursive penmanship.  In the beginning, there were so many more curliues and swirls, and believe it or not, this is a slimmed and trimmed-down version :)  Whenever I come across an old book, I always flip open the inside cover to check for a handwritten name or dedication.  I've even learned a few letters from these old books.  It seems like somewhat of a lost art, as people are transitioning from handwriting to typing.  Nonetheless, as often as I can, I opt for a pen and paper instead of a digital list.

This month I'm working on a bigger typography project that I'm excited to share with you, but for now, send me your thoughts and constructive criticisms on these three.
